Sign Me Up For the Yucatan

Here's a painting that I did that was inspired by some photos that I saw of the Yucatan peninsula.

The scan is kind of bad but you'll get the idea of what this one is all about.

Collaboration with Dain Gore

I learned the fine art of oil painting from the master of the medium himself Mr. Dain Gore. Dain is on his way to getting a Masters degree with his sights set on an art teaching career. I have to say he is both an excellent artist and an excellent (and patient) teacher.

Here is our collaboration oil painting. It's called The Puppet Continuum.

Since I'm scared of dogs, it stands to reason that I'm REALLY scared of wolves.

By the way, the book that I've been drawing from is called Animation: Learn How to Draw Animated Cartoons by Preston Blair and it is really great. This is an excellent step-by-step guide for learning the art of cartoon drawing.

Blah blah blah blarg.

Here's some more of your favorite dog.

I'm actually afraid of dogs.

There are only two real-life dogs in this world that I kind of don't fear: my sister's little dog and my friend Arthur's dog.

Why do people domesticate these things? It wasn't all that long ago when these things were invading our caves and eating our children, elderly, and sick.

Enjoy this lovely doggy and take him home. He will try so hard not to eat your face and drink all of your beer while you sleep.
